John M. Guercio, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA, CBIST
Clinical Director Benchmark Human Services
The Introduction Workshop is Six-Hours and Run in Two Parts
This 2-part introduction to the ACCEA covers the two mandatory precursors for successful implementation of the full ACCEA support framework with the historically overlooked adolescent and adult population of individuals diagnosed with ASD/ID/DD who engage in severe aggression and display other high-risk behavior issues.
In the first session, Dr. Guercio will provide managers, practitioners, staffing teams, supervisors, and families with the ongoing staff assessment and training framework which is critical for facilitating an proactive and positive treatment environment for adults with ASD with extreme aggression and other intense behavioral needs. In the second session, Dr. G will provide audience members with the ongoing client assessment and skill building framework which is the second foundational piece in implementing the full ACCEA support framework.
We strongly recommend you attend the 6-hour introduction workshop event if you are interested in any or all of the intermediate level workshops
Dr. Guercio's intermediate level workshops provide a detailed process related to interventions based on the initial assessment workshops by providing individuals with detailed treatment protocols related to key areas day-to-day functioning that are often overlooked in most programs for adolescent and adult individuals diagnosed with ASD/ID/DD who engage in severe aggression and other high-risk behavior.
In 2022 we are adding at least two additional intermediate workshops to this list!
